Alexandra Jean DiMeco (born June 12, 1992 in Waterbury , Connecticut ) is an American actress . She became best known for starring Rosalina from the film and television series The Naked Brothers Band .

Private life

She lives in Waterbury with her mother, Laura DiMeco. DiMeco attends Holy Cross Highschool, a private school. She has been acting since she was five. She has also played bass and cello since she was a young girl .

Career

In 2004, DiMeco was auditioned for the role of Rosalina for The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie . She was the only leading actress in the film who was hired for it. All others were already members of Nat and Alex Wolff's band . Polly Draper, the screenwriter, producer and director of the film and mother of the Wolff brothers, asked Nat to rewrite the song "Firefighters " as a love song. She really wanted to use it for the film. Then Wolff came up with "Rosalina" . She is the only female member of the Naked Brothers and has mastered her instrument in real life as well.

She made her first appearances on the David Letterman Show and Saturday Night Live . She starred in various commercials. In the musical The King and I , she played Princess Yawolak.

Awards

The Naked Brothers Band: The film won the 2005 Audience Award for Best Family Film at the Hamptons Internation Film Festival . In 2008 she was nominated for the Young Artist Award together with the other leading actors of the Naked Brothers Band .
