Klaus Walgenbach

Klaus Walgenbach is a German plastic surgeon . He heads the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department at the University Hospital Bonn ; he plays in the show Extrem Schön! - Finally a new life! a leading role.

Life

Klaus Walgenbach studied medicine in Bonn and Pittsburgh , USA , from 1984 to 1990 . This was followed by specialist training, a research stay and habilitation in the field of plastic surgery. From 2001 to 2003 Klaus Walgenbach taught as a visiting professor at the University of Pittsburgh , USA. Since 2003 he has been working there as an adjunct associate professor. Since 2004 Klaus Walgenbach has been a consultant for plastic and aesthetic surgery at the University Hospital in Bonn. There he heads the relevant department. In addition, he has set up a monthly consultation hour in London since 2006 .

Since 2009 Klaus Walgenbach has been one of the main characters in the docu-soap “Extremely beautiful! - Finally a new life! "On RTL II . In the controversial program, he treats patients who are followed with the camera before, during and after plastic surgery.

Klaus Walgenbach also appeared in the Discovery Channel's "Fat Doctors" series . He is regularly consulted as an expert in the media such as Focus, Express or the BILD newspaper on issues relating to plastic surgery.
