Klaus Wiswe

Klaus Wiswe (born October 30, 1955 in Böddenstedt , Uelzen district ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and full-time district administrator in the Celle district .

Wiswe grew up in Unterlüß in the district of Celle. After graduating from high school, he studied applied law in Berlin and Göttingen. He worked for a short time as a lawyer, then was a consultant and department head in the administration of Lower Saxony. From 1991 he worked in the district administration of Celle as a department head for the areas of social affairs, youth, health, the environment and construction as well as for regional planning. Klaus Wiswe is with the veterinarian Dr. Birgit Wiswe is married and has a son and a daughter.

On February 21, 1999 he was elected as a candidate for the CDU's first full-time district administrator in the district of Celle. As a teenager he had also been a young socialist for a short time . In the local elections on September 10, 2006, he was confirmed in office in the first ballot with 54.3% of the votes. He was re-elected with 59.85% on May 25, 2014.

Wiswe is President of the Lower Saxony District Assembly .
