Klaus von Schilling

Klaus von Schilling (born June 9, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German specialist in German .

Life

After studying German, political science and philosophy at the University of Mainz, von Schilling was a lecturer in Intercultural German Studies at the Department of Translation, Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germersheim from 1967 to 2008 .

His research areas are regional studies / 'German Studies', German as a foreign language, intercultural communication, cultural-scientific text interpretation and the discourse on coming to terms with the past.
