Klaus von der Krone (born February 25, 1944 in Ichtershausen ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Thuringian state parliament from 1999 to 2014 .

biography

Klaus von der Krone grew up in Ichtershausen, where he trained as a locksmith in a needle factory from 1960 to 1963 . Between 1970 and 1975 he completed an evening course at the Schmalkalden engineering school to become a mechanical engineer. Professionally, he worked for the needle factory and meat machine construction in Arnstadt until 1990.

politics

From 1990 to 2010 Klaus von der Krone was mayor of Ichtershausen. From 1999 to 2014 he was a member of the Thuringian State Parliament. He was always directly elected in the constituency of Ilm District II (northern part of the Ilm district around Arnstadt ). In the 5th electoral term (2009 to 2014) he was the age president of the Thuringian state parliament. He did not run for the 2014 state election .

From 1994 to 2003 he was also chairman of the water and wastewater association in Arnstadt and the surrounding area .
