The Klein-Waterberg ( 1930 m ) is a table mountain in Namibia and part of the Waterberg plateau. The highest point of the entire plateau is located on the western edge of the Klein-Waterberg. This is a sediment plateau in reverse relief , the layers dip to the east-northeast until they descend under the sandy plains of the Kalahari . From the Großer Waterberg, which does not quite reach the height of the Klein-Waterberg but is larger in area, the Klein-Waterberg is separated by the so-called Gate of Omuverume .
Starting from the highest point in the west, the plateau of the Klein-Waterberg extends for almost 13 kilometers in an east-northeast direction, at its widest point it is about 3.5 kilometers wide.
