The Kleine Halken 3 was a listed residential building in Aschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It was located in the southern part of the city center of Aschersleber, south of the Sankt-Stephani-Kirche , on the south side of the narrow street Kleiner Halken, which is designated as a monument area . To the west, the plot of land at Kleiner Halken 2 , which was also originally designated as a monument, bordered. To the east, the building line of the Kleiner Halken jumps back significantly to the adjoining Kleiner Halken 4 building, which creates a particularly striking location for the Kleiner Halken 3 building.

History and architecture

The former two-story house was built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Century. The simple building was built in a style typical for the place. The base of the house is a massive construction, while the upper floor, which partly runs at an angle to the basement, was built in half-timbered construction.

At the beginning of the 21st century, large parts of the house were demolished after a long period of vacancy and the deterioration of the building fabric. In particular, the lower parts of the street-side house wall were preserved.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 80503 . After the building was largely demolished, it was deleted from the list of monuments in 2017.
