Small German riding horse
Small German Riding Horse is the name of a horse breed bred in Germany .
It is regarded as versatile, uncomplicated and robust and is therefore particularly suitable as a leisure horse and sport horse for children, young people and adults alike.
The founding organization of this breed is the IG-Kleines Deutsches Reitpferd Mecklenburg-Vorpommern eV , which also has the original breeding book . The first small German riding horses were born in 1995. A nationwide breeding book was opened in 1995 with the entry of the first original Posener- Trakehner stallion "HENRYK" 090131492 recognized for the breed .
The founding ideology is the Poznan horse (West Prussia), which is considered to be extinct, including the Trakehner and the Wielkopolski . Genetically small German warm-blooded animals as well as Anglo-Arabs and Arabian and English thoroughbreds are included in the breeding program .
