Kleinmann Family Foundation

The Kleinmann Family Foundation (KFF) is an NGO that was commissioned by the Canadian government in 1995 to educate the public about the dangers of prejudice.

history

In the late 1980s, Peter Kleinmann retired from his work in Montreal , Québec , and began to review his experiences during the Holocaust . Its aim was to warn young people about racism , religious intolerance and discrimination .

Until his death in February 2000, he devoted his energies to educating the youth for a better world. To this end, numerous annual lectures were organized in schools. The organization that now bears his name remained under the generous support of his widow, Esther Kleinmann. The foundation is headed by Naomi Kramer .

Since 2002 an Austrian memorial service can be done at the Kleinmann Family Foundation .
