Cleomenes II
Cleomenes II , King of Sparta , came from the house of the Agiads . He was the son of Cleombrotus I and the successor of his brother Agesipolis II , who did not leave any descendants. Akrotatos and Kleonymos were the sons of Cleomenes II . Akrotatos, the older of the two, died before his father, so that his son Areus and grandson of Cleomenes II, succeeded him as king.
