Architecture and history

The core of the two-storey half - timbered house was built at the beginning of the 17th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The half-timbered facade shows the typical decorative forms of the construction period. Ship throats can be found on the filler woods . In addition, there are beam heads in the shape of cylinders with a star pattern. Around 1840, the shutters and window frames on the ground floor were renewed.
