The Klocke Holding GmbH , based in Weingarten (Baden) is a medium-sized international pharmaceutical companies in family ownership. It is mainly active in the field of contract manufacturing and contract packaging.
history
In 1963 Friedhelm Klocke founded a company that manufactured blister packs for pharmaceutical companies. His son Hartmut Klocke took over the management in 1971 and founded today's Klocke Verpackungs-Service GmbH with headquarters in Weingarten near Karlsruhe, which is still the parent company of the group of companies today. Initially, it was specialized contract packaging for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food that allowed the company to grow further. At the beginning of the 1990s, the range of services was expanded to include contract manufacturing and the development of pharmaceuticals.
