The Capuchin monastery , consecrated to Anthony of Padua and founded in 1706, was dissolved in 1802 in the course of secularization . The convent came partly to Altötting , partly to Burghausen and Wasserburg. The church was used as a carriage shed and an apartment was set up in the monastery buildings for the rent clerk. The Protestant parish bought the former church building in 1955 and consecrated it as the Christ Church in 1959.
