The monastery Höchstadt an der Aisch is a former monastery of the Capuchins in Höchstadt an der Aisch in Bavaria in the diocese of Würzburg .
history
The monastery, consecrated to St. Joseph, was founded in 1703 by Count Lothar Franz von Schönborn , it was dissolved in 1810 in the course of secularization and later demolished. The presence of the Capuchins was supposed to strengthen the faith of the Catholic population towards the evangelical citizens living in the surrounding area.
