The Office Seelow-Land [ ˈzeːloː ] is an office formed in 1992 in the Märkisch-Oderland district of Brandenburg , in which 14 communities in the former Seelow district had initially merged to form an administrative association. The official seat is the city of Seelow . The number of administrated municipalities has been reduced to five municipalities through the amalgamation of municipalities.
Geographical location
The office is located in the south of the Märkisch-Oderland district and borders the city of Müncheberg in the west, the Neuhardenberg office in the north, the city of Seelow and the Golzow office in the east, and the Lebus office in the southeast and south .
Municipalities and districts
According to the main statute, the office has five member communities:
- Falkenhagen (Mark) with the inhabited parts of the municipality Georgenthal and Regenmantel
- Fichtenhöhe with the districts of Alt Mahlisch , Carzig and Niederjesar
- Lietzen with the inhabited parts of the municipality Lietzen, Nord and Vorwerk
- Lindendorf with the districts Dolgelin , Libbenichen , Neu Mahlisch and Sachsendorf
- Vierlinden with the districts of Alt Rosenthal , Diedersdorf , Friedersdorf , Görlsdorf , Marxdorf , Neuentempel and Worin
history
On July 1, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Seelow-Land office. The date on which the office was established was July 6, 1992. The office was based in the city of Seelow, which was not an official city, and consisted of 14 communities in what was then the Seelow district :

- Falkenhagen
- Friedersdorf
- Libbenichen
- Lietzen
- Marxdorf
- New Mahlisch
- Niederjesar
- Saxon village

On October 25, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the merger of the municipalities of Alt Mahlisch, Carzig and Niederjesar to form the new municipality of Fichtenhöhe, as well as the merger of the municipalities of Dolgelin, Libbenichen, Neu Mahlisch and Sachsendorf to form the new municipality of Lindendorf and the merger of the municipalities of Diedersdorf , Friedersdorf, Marxdorf and Worin to the new municipality of Vierlinden. All three mergers became legally effective on October 26, 2003. On October 26, 2003, the community of Werbig was incorporated into the city of Seelow.
