Alt Mahlisch is a district of the municipality of Fichtenhöhe in the Brandenburg district of Märkisch-Oderland . Together with four other municipalities, the official business is carried out by the Office of Seelow-Land .

history

Alt Mahlisch was first mentioned in a document in 1287 . The margraves Otto IV and Konrad I transferred the village of Villam Maliz to two Frankfurt citizens as a legal fief.

Around 1308 the village of Malthz came to the diocese of Lebus . From the middle of the 16th century until the 19th century, Alt Mahlisch was administered by the Lebus domain office.

On October 26, 2003, the municipality of Fichtenhöhe came into being through a voluntary amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities of Alt Mahlisch, Carzig and Niederjesar .

Culture and sights

The village church was built in the middle of the 14th century and was mainly made of field stones . In the chancel there is a larger than life cross of Christ by the sculptor Carlernst Kürten , which was buried in the churchyard in Alt Mahlisch.

economy

The Alt Mahlisch-Libbenichen-Dolgelin wind farm , located in the district of Alt Mahlisch, was built in 2003 by PROKON Projektierungs- und Betriebsführungsgesellschaft and was later sold to edisNatur Erneuerbare Energien GmbH.
