The municipality of Vierlinden emerged on October 26, 2003 from the voluntary amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities of Diedersdorf, Friedersdorf, Marxdorf and Worin.
The first written mention of Hedwigshof comes from 1889. The name is derived from the first name of a family member of the owner. Hedwigshof consists of 15 houses in which 15 people have their permanent residence. Furthermore, some weekenders live in the place. The Großer and Kleiner Raaksee are nearby , both of which are used as bathing lakes.
