Village church where

The Protestant village church Worin is a field stone church from the 15th century in Worin , a district of the municipality Vierlinden in the district of Märkisch-Oderland in the state of Brandenburg . The church belongs to the parish of Oderland-Spree of the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Oberlausitz .

location

The road of peace leads from northeast Coming arc to the west and thence in a southeasterly direction from the site. At the south-western end of the village of Angers , Alte Straße branches off in a triangular shape from the Straße des Friedens. It spans an area on which the church stands in the south-eastern area on a piece of land that is enclosed by a wall made of uncut and not layered field stones .

history

The building was built in the 15th century and was " baroque " remodeled in the 18th century . The church patronage at that time lay with the Hohendorff family.

Building description

South portal

The building was essentially made of mixed masonry consisting of field stones and masonry , which were then given a rough plaster . The choir is straight and has not moved in. On its east wall is a pressed-segment arched window, the walls of which are framed with plastered bricks. On the left and right there is an epitaph on a pedestal . In the gable, which is also plastered , there is a small, tall rectangular window slightly off-center to the north.

The nave has a rectangular floor plan. On its north side, in the east, there is a large, high rectangular window. Another, much smaller and pressed segmental arched window is slightly off-center to the west, followed by another epitaph. On the south side there are two large and also high rectangular windows. The ship has a simple gable roof .

The church tower connects to the west . In the lower area it takes up the full side of the ship. On the west side is a simple, pressed segment arch-shaped gate, also on the north side. On the south side there is a double-profiled, pointed arch-shaped portal, which is likely from the construction period. In the middle floor , the tower tapers to a rectangular tower on which a wooden bell floor is placed. There is an arched sound arcade on each side . The tower ends with a pyramid roof and a cross.

Furnishing

View into the nave

The pulpit altar , like the stalls, dates from the middle of the 19th century and is described as "simple" in the Dehio manual . The church also features a pewter chandelier from 1993 and a bronze bell from the 16th century. On the northern outer wall and on the east wall of the choir there are epitaphs from the end of the 17th and the first third of the 18th century, reminiscent of members of the Hohendorff family.
