Alt Rosenthal is a place in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg and has been part of the Vierlinden community since October 26, 2003 . Alt Rosenthal consists of the inhabited parts of the municipality Alt Rosenthal and Alt Rosenthal Vorwerk. Together with four other municipalities, the official business is carried out by the Office of Seelow-Land . Alt Rosenthal is on the Berlin – Küstrin – Kietz border line .

history

In 1325 the place was first mentioned in a document as the Rosintal .

On January 1, 1962, Alt Rosenthal was incorporated into Worin. What belongs together with Alt Rosenthal and Görlsdorf to the municipality of Vierlinden since October 26, 2003.

Personalities

In Alt Rosenthal-Vorwerk the writer Ulrich Plenzdorf (1934–2007) lived in a country house for part of the year until his death. His long-time friend, the Thuringian-born writer Martin Stade, also lives in Alt Rosenthal. The writer Klaus Schlesinger (1937–2001) also had a house there with his then wife Bettina Wegner .
