Libbenichen is a place in the Märkisch-Oderland district in Brandenburg and has been part of the Lindendorf community since October 26, 2003 . Together with other municipalities, the official business is carried out by the Amt Seelow-Land . The size of the suburbs is 962 ha.
history
The original owners of the village were the Frankfurter Bekow brothers, who in 1499 sold Libbenichen (then: Lübenkem ) to the Diocese of Lebus . In the 21st century the community center is located in the building of the former school.

Economy and Infrastructure
The district of Libbenichen is on the federal highway 167 , a little south of Dolgelin . This district also has its own train station on the Eberswalde – Frankfurt (Oder) railway line . Today the East German Railway runs on the route .
Attractions
The Libbenichen village church was built in 1736 on the remains of a previous medieval building . During repair work after the Second World War, craftsmen uncovered the remains of a medieval painting. The pulpit is from the first half of the 19th century. The building, like the rectory and the Libbenichen wind turbine on the Birkenhof, is a listed building.
