Convent of the Protection and Intercession of the Virgin Mary

Mariä-Schutz-und-Interbitte-Kloster or Kloster Mariä Schutz und Interbitte is the name given to various monasteries of the Orthodox and Greek Catholic churches .

The patronage goes back to the Feast of the Protection and Intercession of the Virgin Mary , which refers to an apparition of the Theotokos in Constantinople in the 10th century.
