The Monastery of Our Lady Star of Hope is a since 2011 monastery of Trappist nuns in the Chinese Special Administrative Region Macau .

history

The Indonesian Trappist Abbey of Gedono founded the nunnery Our Lady Star of Hope (Maria Hoffnungsstern) in Macau in 2012 . The founding bishop was José Lai Hung-seng , Bishop of Macau .
