The monastery of St. Alban is a monastery of the Benedictine nuns in Dießener district of St. Alban .

The monastery community was founded in 1923 by Baroness Barbara von Freyberg (1885–1933), called Sister Annuntiata , in the premises of a former inn . The baroness worked in the reserve hospital in Sankt Ottilien during the First World War . At that time, 15 children were accepted.
