The house at Klosterbergestraße 17 is a listed building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the east side of Klosterbergestraße opposite the confluence with Basedowstraße in the Magdeburg district of Buckau .

Architecture and history

The four-storey house was built in 1891 for master masons C. Kugeler and G. Freytag. As another master mason, Ernst Reppin was involved in the construction of the house. The plastered brick building is designed in the neo-renaissance style. The facade of the first floor is rusticated . Segmental arches are arranged above the window openings on the first floor, and triangular gables on the second floor.

At the time of construction, the house corresponded to simple and medium-sized living conditions and is considered an example of Wilhelminian style residential construction.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 17838 .
