Klosterstrasse 19–21 (Mönchengladbach)
The house monastery 19-21 is in the district Wickrath in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
The building was built in the 15th century . It was entered under No. K 036 on December 15, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The building of the former Kreuzherrenkloster dates back to the 15th century and was extensively rebuilt and expanded at the end of the 17th century . The Rente house, once the west wing of the brick -built monastery , which was closed on four sides , is now presented with a structured stucco facade .
The traufständige residential building on an L-shaped floor plan has five window bays on two floors and is surrounded by a gabled roof completed.
Worth preserving as a representative designed upper-class residential building of historicism , which is of high documentary status due to its local and architectural significance.
