The Klughafenbrücke (also called the Glitter Bridge).

The Klughafenbrücke is a bridge in Lübeck over the Elbe-Lübeck Canal . Both pedestrians and cyclists use the structure, which was built in 1994 and renovated in 2012.

The Klughafenbrücke crosses the Elbe-Lübeck Canal and connects the Lübeck districts of Old Town and St. Jürgen . It extends Glockengießerstraße to street An der Falkenwiese . It owes its name to the Klughafen, which forms the northern end of the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. It spans around 130 meters.

In 1999 an artist from Lübeck and a citizens' initiative created a wildflower meadow next to the bridge , which offers a habitat for around 150 different species. The project is under the patronage of BUND .

Popularly the Klughafen bridge is due to their covering Glitter bridge called.
