Sundance Film Festival / Audience Award - Best Foreign Documentary
With the audience award ( World Cinema Audience Award: Documentary ) at the annual Sundance Film Festival, the best foreign feature film from the viewer's point of view is awarded.
The prize has been awarded since the 21st edition of the film festival in 2004, separately from the audience prize for US documentary films . So far, the winner has agreed once with the eventual winner of the jury award .
