Sundance Film Festival 2014

The 30th Sundance Film Festival was held January 16 through January 26, 2014 in Park City , Utah . The film screenings were shown in movie theaters in Salt Lake City , Ogden and Sundance , both in the US state of Utah.

For the first time, 12,218 films were submitted, 72 more than in 2013. 121 of the 4057 films submitted were selected. Of the feature films, 2014 were from the United States and 2043 were international. 66 of the 8161 short films submitted were selected. At this year's festival, 54 filmmakers from 37 countries made their debut for the first time.

Award-winning films

The awards ceremony took place in Park City on January 26, 2014 and was hosted by Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally .
