The Knattane ( Norwegian for rocky outcrops , in the Russian directory Knottane , English Knattane Peaks ) are three mountains in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They tower 7 km northeast of the Simmers Peaks .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them in 1946 using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
