Pincers with plastic handle

The pliers also pinch , pliers or edges pliers called, is a pincer with two wedge-shaped cutting edges .

The nippers are used to pull out nails and to pinch off wire or thin metal pins. It is made from tool steel and is one of the oldest types of pliers. Depending on the size and shape of the pliers head, nails and staples can be pulled out of solid ground with a rolling lever movement .

The pliers are almost identical to the Monier pliers . The front cutter is structurally very similar ; it differs from this one in that it has a larger pliers head and a greater distance between the cutting edges and the trade, which brings the gripping function to the fore. However, the transition is fluid.
