Knee run scheme
The knee-run scheme is a common way of depicting flight in the Greek Archaic . This representation, in which one knee almost touches the ground, can be found especially with Nike or the Gorgons . Persian Dareiken coins show the great king in a knee- running pattern . This method of representation is also used for modern works of art.
