Knohllweg
The Knohllweg is a city road in the district Oberlößnitz the Saxon town of Radebeul . The almost 100 meter long street forms the access from Hoflößnitzstraße to the eastern gate of Hoflößnitz . It is listed as a part of the whole as well as the work of landscape and garden design Hoflößnitz.
The access to the eastern gate of the Hoflößnitz can already be found in drawings from 1667.
The street, which was dedicated in 1939, is named after Johann Paul Knohll (around 1628 – around 1708) , who was a wine specialist from the Saxon region and who was an official, building and vineyard clerk on the Hoflößnitz . House number 37 in Hoflößnitz is the only address on Knohllweg. The number 37 comes from the consecutive numbering of the Lößnitzgrundstrasse below.
