Knuckey Island is an island on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land, East Antarctica . In the Larsemann Hills area, it is the largest of a group of three islands, 1.1 km northwest of the western foothills of the Stornes peninsula .
It is named after Graham Alexander Knuckey (1934–1969), who worked as a geodesist at Mawson Station in 1958 and set up a fixed point for astronomical navigation on this island .
