Knut Kroon (born June 19, 1906 in Helsingborg , † February 27, 1975 ) was a Swedish football player .

Career

Kroon began his career at Stattena IF and moved to Helsingborgs IF in Allsvenskan in 1925 . By 1942 he had 140 first division goals in 518 appearances. He is currently tenth in the league's all-time record shooter list. He won the Swedish championship five times with Helsingborgs IF.

Kroon was a Swedish international . For the national selection, he played 35 international matches between 1925 and 1934. He took part in the 1934 World Cup, played two games and scored a goal in a 3-2 win against Argentina .
