Ko Phayam ( เกาะ พยาม ) is a small Thai island in the east of the Indian Ocean ( Andaman Sea ).
There are numerous coconut and cashew tree plantations on the sparsely populated island about 10 kilometers off the north-west coast of Thailand.
Smaller resorts and bungalow hotels offer overnight accommodation for tourists on the island's sandy beaches .
The island is part of the Mu Ko Phayam National Park .
