Kō Shimura ( Japanese 志 村 滉 Shimura Kō ; born April 27, 1996 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shimura learned to play soccer on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract with Júbilo Iwata in 2015 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2015 he was runner-up in the second division with the club and was promoted to the first division . For the club, he completed 10 first division games. In June 2018 he was loaned to the second division club Mito HollyHock . In July 2018 he returned to Júbilo Iwata. At the end of the 2019 season, the club was relegated to the second division.
