Kocher sign

The Kocher-mark is a clinical signs in the endocrine ophthalmopathy , that an increase in the retraction of the eyelid is in fixing. The patient's look appears "fearful".

The Kocher symbol is named after the Swiss surgeon Emil Theodor Kocher (1841–1917), who described it in 1874.

Other clinical signs of endocrine orbithopathy are the Graefe sign , the Dalrymple sign , the Stellwag sign and the Möbius sign .
