The Koerner Rock is a striking and around 600 m high ledge in Grahamland on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Trinity Peninsula, it rises 6 km southwest of Cape Dubouzet .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1964 after Roy Martindale Koerner (1932-2008), who worked from 1957 to 1960 as an assistant meteorologist and glaciologist for the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in Hope Bay .
