Kōichi Jeffrey Homma ( Japanese 本 間 ジ ェ フ リ ー 光 一 , Homma Jefurī Kōichi ; born August 7, 1985 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Tohoku Free Blades in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2009 and since 2011 as Player on loan for the China Dragon plays.

Career

Kōichi Homma began his career as an ice hockey player in the amateur team X-united. He then signed a contract with Tohoku Free Blades , which began playing in the Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2009/10 season . In this, the defender scored two goals in 34 games in his rookie year in professional ice hockey. He also received eight penalty minutes. In the 2010/11 season, which ended prematurely due to the Tōhoku earthquake , he and his team won the championship title of the Asia League Ice Hockey for the first time.
