The Kolahoi ( English Kolahoi Peak or Mount Kolahoi ) is a mountain in the western Himalayas in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir .
The Kolahoi is located north of the Kashmir Valley in the Anantnag district . The Kolahoi Glacier flows along its east and west flanks in a northerly direction and feeds the Lidder , which turns in a left curve to the south and flows into the Kashmir Valley. The small town of Pahalgam is located 15 km south of the Kolahoi in the Lidder river valley. With a height of 5425 m, the Kolahoi towers over the surrounding peaks. Because of its shape, the mountain is also known as the "Matterhorn of Kashmir".
