Kolia is a village in the Kingdom of Alo , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

location

The village extends along the southeast coast of the island of Futuna in the Horn Islands group of islands . The Chapelle de Kolia is located in Kolia as a church .

population

Throughout Wallis and Futuna, the population has declined sharply in recent years; the population decreased from 432 people in 2003 to 397 people in 2008 and finally to 309 people in 2013. Many residents emigrate to New Caledonia .
