This Kollafjörður is a fjord on the east side of the Westfjords of Iceland .
It is located north of Bitrufjörður and south of Steingrímsfjörður on Húnaflói . This fjord is up to 3 km wide and 8 km far into the country. The whole of Kollafjörður is circled by the Innstrandavegur 
. Broddanes on the eastern fjord is a settlement and had a primary school between 1978 and 2004. In Kollafjörður the Steinsdalsvegur branches 
off to the west and meets on Gilsfjörður the Vestfjarðavegur 
.
