Kollskjer (Norwegian for hill Skerry , in Australia Blake Iceland ) is a large cliff rocks in front of the Mawson Coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands . It is located 800 m southeast of Oom Island on the west side of Oom Bay .
Norwegian cartographers , who also named it, mapped it using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . The Australian name is named after John Roger Blake (* 1936), aurora researcher at Mawson Station in 1958.
