The Kolzewoje Lake ( Russian Озеро Кольцево́е , "Ring Lake") is a crater lake in the extreme south of the Kuril island of Onekotan .
The outflowless Kolzewoje Lake is located in the Tao Rusyr Caldera . Its closed crater rim has heights between 540 m and 920 m . The almost circular lake is at an altitude of about 400 m . It has a longitudinal extension of 7.2 km in the SE-NW direction and 6.7 km in the SW-NE direction. The water area is 25 km². In the northwest part of the lake is the 10 square kilometer crater island of Krenizyn -Vulkans. This has a largely symmetrical conical shape. The volcanic peak is at an altitude of 1325 m .
