The New City Fountain is a fountain designed by the sculptor Eberhard Linke in 1996 on Kiliansplatz in Heilbronn in northern Baden-Württemberg .

The first plans for a new city fountain in Heilbronn go back to the redesign of Kiliansplatz in 1988, when the desire for a contemporary counterpart to the historic seven-tube fountain located on the same square arose. Finally, the sculptor Eberhard Linke was commissioned to design a new fountain. The fountain he made out of bronze, concrete and sandstone has a footprint of around 9 × 16 meters and shows various comedic motifs borrowed from the Italian Commedia dell'arte : mask wearers, musicians and instruments. Due to the subject matter of the motif, the fountain is also known as the comedian fountain . The bronze figures are up to 2.80 meters high. The fountain has a water feature.
