Logic circuit
A logic circuit is an interconnection of electronic components that implements digital logic based on Boolean algebra .
A distinction is made between combinational circuits that implement a Boolean function (such as a logic gate ) and switching networks that have feedback and thus an (internal) state ; Switching networks are implementations of finite automatons , for example according to the Medvedev automaton scheme or the Moore automaton or Mealy automaton .
