Municipal assessment, organization and service system (KOMMBOSS) is software for the administration and management of personnel in public organizations and institutions. KOMMBOSS is a registered brand name . The software is developed, sold and implemented in public organizations by the company GfOP Neumann & Partner mbH based in Michendorf ( Brandenburg ). KOMMBOSS supports the core HR processes in public administrations. Due to the modular structure , the program components can be used that are required to complete specific tasks in the personnel and organizational area.

history

The first installation of KOMMBOSS for DOS took place at the end of 1993. KOMMBOSS has been installed under Microsoft Windows since 1997; initially under Windows NT 3.1. Today KOMMBOSS runs on all available Windows platforms.

On December 17, 2007 KOMMBOSS was certified for the first time by the Independent Center for Data Protection of the State of Schleswig-Holstein (ULD) with regard to compliance with data protection regulations . It thus received the ULD's data protection seal of approval. A corresponding report was drawn up. The subject of the certification were the modules: position plan , job description , business distribution plan , organizational chart , product catalog , applicant management, access rights , user management, data interface , PermisExport, personnel cost planning, personnel management , women's advancement plan , advanced training , document management, list generator, deadline monitoring, logging , personnel files data deletion.

KOMMBOSS was re-certified by the ULD in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2017. The certification must be renewed every two years.

KOMMBOSS supports the core processes in the personnel area in public administrations. The software system has a modular structure. Due to the modular structure, the program components can be used that are required to complete the individual tasks in the personnel and organizational area. All modules are interlinked in terms of software and use a uniform database.
