The Comunanza Capriasca / Lugaggia was a common area ( Kommunanz ) in the district of Lugano of the canton of Ticino in Switzerland .

Political Affiliation

The approximately 0.75 square kilometer territory was jointly owned by two communities: Capriasca and Lugaggia.

geography

The mostly uninhabited subalpine area consists of the partly wooded, steep southern slope of the 1816 m high Monte Bar. It extends from 1580 m (Capanna Monte Bar) to the summit and is below the entire length of the border by a narrow, approx m wide band of the municipality of Capriasca.

Name change

The Kommunanz Capriasca / Lugaggia was called the Kommunanz Sala Capriasca / Vaglio / Lugaggia until December 31, 2003 and had the FSO no. 5237 (from January 1, 2004: FSO No. 5393).

Dissolution on April 20, 2008

With the merger of the municipalities of Bidogno, Corticiasca, Lugaggia and Capriasca to form the municipality of Capriasca on April 20, 2008, this municipality was dissolved.
