Konofer ( Estonian Konuvere ) is a former manor in Estonia .

location

Historically, the estate belonged to the parish of Vigala (German: Fickel ) in the Läänemaa district . After a regional reform, it is now part of the Märjamaa municipality in Raplamaa .

history

The property was first mentioned in a document in 1563. From 1750 to 1919, with a brief interruption, it was owned by the von Rennenkampff family . It owned 1,088 hectares of farmland, 560 hectares of farmland and had the tax value of 8 hooks at the time . According to the baptism certificate issued on March 6, 1865, the Imperial Russian General of the Cavalry Paul Georg Edler von Rennenkampff was born on this estate .

construction

The building was erected in 1810 and is in the classical style. After a fire in 1905, it was rebuilt with minor changes.
