Konrad Antoni (born May 4, 1964 in Gmünd ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). From October 2013 to October 2019 he was a member of the National Council and from 2008 to 2013 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Antoni attended grammar school after elementary school and then switched to a commercial school. He works as a clerk at the Austrian Federal Railways. In 2000 he was elected to the Chamber Council of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees in Lower Austria, and in 2005 he moved to the local council . On November 20, 2008, Antoni replaced Ewald Sacher in the state parliament. After the losses in the state elections in Lower Austria in 2013 , Antoni lost his state parliament mandate and left the state parliament on April 24, 2013.

After leaving the Lower Austrian state parliament, Antoni ran for the SPÖ in the 2013 National Council election and won a seat on the National Council. He was able to defend this in the 2017 National Council election. After the National Council election in 2019 , he resigned from the National Council.

Antoni lives in Schrems .
